The PTA shall be responsible for providing, under the direction of a Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapist Manager, therapeutic interventions in a team environment consistent with the position qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The PTA shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
Education: Graduate of an APTA approved Associates Degree program and shall meet the practice requirements of the appropriate State.
Experience, Training, Knowledge:
Work with an adult and geriatric population is necessary, and education/experience with outpatient programs/services and pediatric/adolescent populations are desirable.
Certification, Licensure, Bonding:┬á
Must be licensed in the State of Oklahoma as a PTA.
